A community-run group of indie makers, coders, designers, and hardware hackers who build independent apps and startups. We meet every Thursday for co-working, demos, and drinks.
Hackalona is not a corporate hackathon or structured networking event. It is a weekly routine for people who actively build their own projects.
Whether you are working on a bootstrapped SaaS, a hardware prototype, a mobile app, or design systems, you are welcome here. We bring our laptops, do focused deep-work, share feedback, and demo what we built.
Meet the group, grab a coffee, and quickly share what you are planning to build today.
We head out together to grab a bite at a local spot in Barcelona to chat and relax.
Strictly voluntary. Show the progress you made today, get feedback, or just watch others build.
We wrap up the laptops and head out for a beer or glass of wine to celebrate the work day.
To keep our meetups cozy and highly productive, we host them in private/co-working spaces in Barcelona. The exact venue details are shared directly with approved members once organizers confirm their application.
It is 100% free. We do not charge anything to join the node. You only pay for your own lunch, coffee, or drinks during the day.
Anyone who is actively building. Coders, designers, hardware hackers, writers, or indie creators. The only requirement is that you are building something independent (not client work or standard corporate day jobs) and can attend in person.
That is totally fine! The best way to turn an idea into reality is to start building it. As long as you intend to work on it during the meetup, you are welcome to apply.
Fill out the application below. Organizers will review it and contact you on Telegram.
